The Twitch bot for flight simulation!

A full list of commands for users:

  • -flight : The current flightplan, ETA and remaining distance
  • -departure : Information on the departure airport
  • -destination : Information on the destination airport
  • -info [ICAO] : Return detailed information for an airport
  • -metar : Try to get live METAR for current destination
  • -metar [ICAO] : Will try to get the live METAR or TAF for given ICAO
  • -aircraft : Shows the name of the currently flown aircraft
  • -codes : Returns the ICAO codes of departure and destination
  • -flightplanlong : Show flightplan with all waypoints

It is noteworthy that commands have a few seconds of "cooldown" before chat can trigger another one. This restriction is in place to prevent spam, but it does not apply to channel moderators.

A full list of commands for moderators:

  • -setflight [ICAO] [ICAO] : Set flightplan
  • -setflight [ICAO] : Set flightplan with last destintation as departure
  • -clearflight : Clear the current flightplan (= not flying)
  • -coords [ICAO] : Get the coordinates for an airport
